SCHOOL MEALS

Primary school children in London get free school meals as per the LFSM (London Free School Meals) scheme initiated by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

School meals are cooked on site from our carefully planned menus; we aim to cater for all tastes and any allergies that children might have. The school menu offers a variety of meat, vegetarian and halal options, with a salad bar, fresh bread, fresh fruit and pudding. Water is always available. Children are encouraged to eat a balanced meal.

Here are the important things to remember about School Meals:

  • KS1 (Reception, Year 1 & 2) – All children will have free school dinners under UIFSM (Universal Free School Meals). Please book your meals for the entire term; you can always change the choices at a later day (apart from the current week)
  • KS2 (Year 3 to 6) –  All children are entitled to free school meals but they can bring in a packed lunch if they wish. Please remember that the children who have school dinners should have school dinners for an entire week and they do not change during a week.
  • Please discuss the menu with your child and find out what they like to eat before booking
  • If there are no bookings made, we will offer them the Alternative option from the menu. We are unable to take bookings/meal choices over the phone.
