Dear Parents and Carers,
We are currently looking into the possibility of a day trip to the Thames Young Mariners (TYM) in the summer term. This promises to be a fantastic opportunity for your child to take part in outdoor learning and water-based activities. The estimated cost of day trip will be approximately £51 per child. This price covers all activities and coach travel. The amount is based on thirty children attending and may be adjusted slightly depending on final numbers. We will inform you as soon as possible if any changes are necessary.
In order for the trip to take place, we need to find out if you are interested in your child taking part. Please complete the online form by Friday 27th March at the latest to let us know whether your child would like participate in the day trip. Please note that if we do not receive enough expressions of interest, the trip will not be able to go ahead. Once we have confirmed numbers, we will proceed with the booking and provide further details about refunding any outstanding money from the cancelation of the residential trip.
Planning visits and events such as these take a lot of time, and we want the process to be smooth and efficient. Currently, the school staff spend considerable time reminding and chasing parents for consent and payments. While we want to send only a few reminders to our parents, we also have to meet deadlines to complete specific tasks to ensure these events are safe and secure for all. This is where we need your support.
