Nursery ‘Play and Engage’ Sessions

Nursery parents have the opportunity to join the  ‘Play and Engage’ Sessions where the parents can have fun playing and developing skills with their child. The sessions aim to give  further ideas of fun, physically active games that will  able to play with the child at home or in the park, as well as an opportunity to play with them at school. In a recent questionnaire we were asked for some support in ideas of how to limit screen time for three year olds. These sessions will support parents with this.

Physical Development is one of the 3 prime areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. The activities aim to help children develop positive relationships while becoming more confident, self-assured and physically capable through learning in an enabling, active environment.

The sessions will start at 8: 50 and run until 9.30am. Sessions are delivered by Clare King who is our external PE Specialist and the programme designed by Sport Impact (www.sportimpact.co.uk).
The sessions will run on the following days:
Thursday 25th January, Thursday 1st February, Thursday 8th February, Thursday 22nd February Thursday 29th February and Thursday 7th March.
