Phase One: Parent Introduction

Phase Two: Teddy Bears’ Picnic
Thursday 25th June, 3.45pm

For parents only
This meeting is an opportunity for parents to meet with members of the Reception team and find out more about starting school. We will discuss daily routines, what children can expect in Reception, and how families can support a smooth transition at home. There will also be time for parents to ask questions.

We have arranged a creche facility fir the duration of this meeting. Please book in advance.

Nursery and Reception children with a parent/carer

Our Teddy Bears’ Picnic is a fun and informal opportunity for children and families to become familiar with the school environment. Children will take part in activities on the school field, enjoy time on the outdoor play equipment, and meet staff and other families in a relaxed setting.
Parent Introduction Meeting -Thursday 25th June, 3.45pm
Teddy Bears’ Picnic - Thursday 2nd July 2026, 1:30–2:30pm
Please note, children MUST be 3 years or older to attend the creche.

Phase Three: One-to-One Parent Meetings - 8th to 11th September 2026

These meetings provide an opportunity for parents to share important information about their child and discuss any individual concerns with a member of the Early Years Team. Discussions may include the child’s personality, interests, and any special considerations, as well as any questions parents may have about Nursery and Reception. The information shared helps staff to support each child effectively as they settle into school.

Choose a date for your meeting (AM - 9am to 12pm PM - 1pm to 3pm)

An appointment will be allocated based on your preference and confirmed via email.
