A condition of the loan is that instruments are available only to children receiving or about to receive lessons at their school through the Hounslow Music Service. The instrument must be returned immediately to the class teacher if the child stops lessons or moves schools. The instrument should be returned in the condition issued.
Parents/Carers are responsible for any loss or damage to the instrument whilst it is in the child’s possession and are strongly advised to add it to their Household Insurance policy. In the event of loss/damage to the instrument the Parents/Carers should inform the School immediately. If the instrument is lost or stolen or damaged beyond repair the full replacement value of the instrument shall be payable by the Parent/Carer.
